Sustainably raised. Rotationally grazed. Built on balance.

At 7B, we believe good ranching is built on stewardship, transparency, and restraint. Whether food or livestock, our goal is to produce products and genetics we stand behind for the long term.

Our Simmental and SimAngus program is built around function, fertility, and longevity — not single-trait extremes. Cattle are selected using Allied Genetic Resources' Right Choice and Right Mate tools, allowing us to evaluate multiple performance traits simultaneously while maintaining balance across calving ease, growth, maternal strength, and efficiency.

Our herd consists of females sourced from proven seedstock programs — Highland Acres, Rydeen Farms, and others — developed to thrive in real-world commercial environments. We breed for fertility first, structural soundness, udder quality, calm disposition, and long, productive lives.

Every mating is intentional and data-driven, planned with long-term functionality, maternal strength, and herd consistency in mind. Our breeding decisions prioritize calving ease, structural correctness, docility, longevity, and balanced $API and $TI values.

Stewardship

Good farming is built on care for the land, the cattle, and the people they feed — for the long term.

Transparency

We share our data, our matings, and our reasoning. What you see is what we stand behind.

Restraint

We breed for balance, not extremes — producing genetics we'd keep in our own herd.
